Fix Socket API Errors & IP Reset.
Go to search menu and then type CMD and right click on it and run it as a admin, now open it as admin and then you have to type certain commands so first type netsh winsock reset and then press enter and then a message will appear that Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog. You must restart the computer in order to complete the reset. And then type netsh winsock reset catalog and then press enter. And now we need to reset the IP Log so for that type netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt and then press enter on your keyboard.
And then you will see these type of messages Resetting OK Resetting OK now if you want you can flush the dns cache as well so for that you need to type ipconfig/flushdns and then press enter and you don’t need to release or renew IP Address like in the earlier commands and after that you can exit the cmd prompt. And after this all you need to restart you computer and then check for the Wi Fi is working or not and if not then follow the next method.
Check Network Services.
So go to search and search for services and then open it and you need to find certain windows services to make sure they are running now search for DHCP CLIENT Service and make sure this service is running this service is not related to Wi fi but is related to internet on your computer. And then search for WLAN Auto Config and make sure that this service is also running and if not the right click on it and then go to properties and then start the service and startup type should be automatic. And then next service you need to check is the WWAN Autoconfig and then make sure that this service is running or not and if not then right click on it and then go to properties and then start the service and startup type should be automatic.

Select Auto IP & DNS.
Go to search and search for Control Panel and after that go to Network & Sharing Center and the go to Change adapter setting and then find you Wi Fi and then right click on it and then go to properties and then double click on Internet Protocol version 4 TCP IPv version 4 and then make sure that all the selected option ticked are ticked on automatic as you can check in the image below and then click on OK this will fix the error if the Wi Fi is connected but internet is not working.
Check Proxy Server.
Now again go to search and search for control panel and then go to Internet Option and then go to connection option and the click on LAN setting and the make sure that the Automatically detect setting is turned on. If there is any proxy server selected then you have to uncheck it and then click on OK. Install Official Wi Fi Driver.
So for this step you need a working computer with working Wi Fi so just go to google.com and then search for you Laptop model and then write driver and then you need to open the official website where you can download the driver and if you have custom build PC then you have to go motherboard manufacturer and download the driver.
